Over 11,000 people don’t have homes in London. We want to change that. So a percentage of all Settle's profits support St Mary’s Church, Walthamstow, in their work with Forest Churches Emergency Night Shelter. A collaboration between seven local churches which gives people who are homeless in Waltham Forest a safe place to sleep throughout the winter.

Mirko Piras

I started in property by chance after being introduced to it by someone I knew in the industry. But early on, I realised how hugely rewarding it was and how it allowed me to build a confidence that wasn’t there before. This snowballed into an absolute passion — property is a platform where I can be myself while at the same time provide a positive experience for others.

As Drake said, “started from the bottom now we’re here”. Beginning at apprentice level, I worked my way up, learning the ins and outs and helping countless people make a home in London. Then, after a decade in the industry and working with Mike for years, we finally actioned our shared vision. We started Settle.
For me, what we do isn’t about money. It’s about building up a positive reputation for the property industry — something we felt it was seriously lacking — and continuing our learning journey. My vision is to leave my mark by building a brand that people can relate to.

Michael Fenton

Getting into property when I was 19, I instantly fell in love with the job. I’m East London born and bred, and the people-facing aspects of property massively appeal to me, as well as the competition and the balance of being successful whilst maintaining my morals (something that some agents have a bad reputation with). I spent the next 10 years gaining my stride in agencies large and small, investigating all aspects of the market and meeting Mirko on the scene.

Together, we took the leap to start Settle. The vision is to create an estate agency with a new energy and bring a new way of doing things to East London. We wanted to start a family-focused company where we treat people with respect, build very strong personal relationships, and give good, honest and real advice. Challenging the established reputation of property, we are passionate agents and genuinely want to help — and we want to elevate the industry to a level where people stop being surprised by this!
The level of support so far has been fantastic and spurs us on every day. With Settle, we have laid the foundations for a company that we can be proud of and conduct business the way we feel is right for everyone we work with.

Maryia Mahilnaya
Office Administrator & Social Media
Friendly, organised and full of positive energy, Maryia is the backbone of the Settle East office, managing day-to-day operations, overseeing property administration and ensuring communication runs smoothly across the team, landlords and tenants. Her efficiency, attention to detail and proactive approach help keep everything running seamlessly behind the scenes.
Alongside her office role, Maryia also manages Settle East’s social media presence and is often recognised by clients as the voice behind the agency’s popular property voiceover videos. Fluent in multiple languages and a proud Walthamstow local, she brings creativity, warmth and a strong understanding of the local community to everything she does.

Working within the lettings team, Lily is passionate about helping clients find the right home while ensuring the process feels smooth and stress-free from start to finish.

Nikolas Bogdanovic

Friendly, driven and highly personable, Nikolas brings a proactive and energetic approach to his role at Settle East. With a background in customer-facing environments and a passion for building genuine relationships, he enjoys helping clients feel confident and supported throughout their property journey.
Working across both sales and lettings, Nikolas works closely with landlords, tenants and buyers throughout East London. He is known for his approachable nature, strong communication skills and commitment to delivering a smooth, positive experience from start to finish. Having studied at Westminster Business School and built his career around people-focused roles, he combines professionalism with a modern, personable touch that reflects the values at Settle East.

He also enjoys attending concerts and live events, bringing the same energetic and sociable personality from his work life into his hobbies and interests outside of Settle East.
Elif Ugurlu
Property Manager
Friendly, approachable and highly organised, Elif began her property career in property management and is passionate about continuing to grow within the sector. She enjoys the variety that comes with the role, with no two days ever being the same, and takes pride in supporting landlords and tenants through any challenges that arise.
As a trusted point of contact, Elif is committed to providing reliable guidance and ensuring clients feel supported throughout their tenancy. She finds property management both hands-on and highly rewarding, particularly when helping to achieve positive outcomes for everyone involved.
